Times Square Neighborhood Italian Restaurant Menu Design
When Birthmark first approached Times Square, all they had was an old, laminated, tattered piece of paper with no photos, just plain old text. After meeting with Paulette, the owner, Birthmark discovered that most customers would order the traditional spaghetti and meatballs, or something they were familiar with.

Times Square wanted to sell more of their higher-priced, seafood and pasta dishes, but without photos of the food, it sometimes proved to be a tougher sell.

Birthmark designed a new identity for Times Square first, we then, we hired David B. Moore to take the beautiful pictures of the food. Next, we designed a menu for them that represented the essence of their restaurant, using existing characatures of regular customers that hung on the walls.
